There are a number of ways to make money online, but many are often convoluted, restrictive and a waste of time. Not Qmee however, which is an easy to use and transparent online platform that can see you get paid directly to your PayPal account within minutes. In this quick guide, we’ll explain what Qmee is, how you can get set up, the ways you can make money and how much you can expect to earn, so read on to discover everything you need to know to start earning with Qmee.

What is Qmee?

Qmee is a simple platform that aims to bridge the gap between users and brands. Here’s how they describe their purpose:

“For users, Qmee allows you to share your opinions through surveys tailored to you, as well as earn instant cash rewards when shopping and searching online. For brands, Qmee is a technology solution that gets better, faster and more accurate answers that can help influence the direction of your brand.

Essentially Qmee is a survey site such as InboxDollars, Toluna and Swagbucks among others, that also offers cashback incentives, discounts and various other ways to earn. The unique and compelling reason to use Qmee though is that they are very transparent with your earnings, allow you to cash out instantly into your PayPal account and require no minimum amount! This is great as a user because it means you can:

  • Say goodbye to confusing ‘points’ based earnings!
  • Clearly see how much you are earning in your target currency!
  • Get paid instantly and not in gift cards (unless you want to)!

Best of all Qmee has no minimum cash out requirement, so you’ll be able to get your bonus in no time – continue reading to find out how. Once you’re signed up, that’s all you need to do. However, there are some optional steps you can take to earn a bit extra. If you’re interested, move on to step 2 below.

2. Install the browser extension (optional)

One of the ways Qmee allows you to earn is via searching the internet. This works because they pay you to click on promoted links from their partners when you search. Simply click the link and watch the pennies enter your piggybank.

In order to earn from searching though, you need to have installed their browser extension and Qmee offer a free 10p bonus for doing so. So if this sounds like something you’d like to try, or if you just want a quick way to earn your 50p cash out bonus for signing up via my referral link, then head on over to their search page and download it.

3. Download the app (optional)

The other optional step is to download the Qmee Android or iOS app. Having either of their mobile apps allows you to make money by downloading and playing mobile games. Yep that’s right, you can get paid to game! If you’re interested, just search for the Qmee app on your smartphone’s app store, or navigate to the gaming section of their website, choose a game you’re interested in and follow the prompt to download the app.

7 Ways to make money with Qmee

From answering daily Quizzes to playing mobile games, there are many ways to earn on Qmee. Here are the seven ways you can currently make money with a brief description of how to earn and what to expect.

1. Surveys

At its core Qmee is a survey site after all, so filling out surveys is probably going to be the most consistent way you earn. A great thing about Qmee though is that they are transparent with how much you are going to earn (you earn in £s rather than points) and you can get a 10% bonus when you keep up a daily streak.

Surveys range from anywhere between a couple of pence and a couple of pounds, depending on the duration and content of the survey, but they can be a bit tighter in their rewards than other sites. However, Qmee’s algorithm promotes surveys that they think will be a good match for you, reducing the chances you’ll be screened out. They’re also pretty good at blocking invasive and dodgy surveys and they even have a filter to only show surveys that require limited personal information.

2. Cashback offers

If you’ve never heard of cashback offers before, think of them as a little thank you for spending money with a certain company. For example, in the screenshot below you can see you can earn 3% cashback at Just Eat with Qmee. That means if you bought £10 worth of takeout from Just Eat, Qmee would pay you back 30p as a thank you.

Unfortunately Qmee don’t have too many partner sites compared to competitors such as Swagbucks, but they do still have a decent range so you might find something relevant to you. Try to take advantage of cashback offers when you can. For example, if you were going to order through Just Eat anyway, you might as well do it through Qmee to get a cheeky discount.

3. Discounts / Deals

While discounts and deals don’t really make you money, they do save you money which is equally as good. Similar to their cashback offers, Qmee has partnered with a number of companies to offer you exclusive discounts. This means you can get what you wanted for cheaper!

Again there aren’t too many partner sites as of yet, but there could be something for somewhere you regularly shop. The idea here is to save money on your regular purchases / places where you shop often, rather than spending money on things you don’t need nor want just to get a discount!

4. Mobile games

You don’t need to be a YouTube personality or Twitch streamer to earn money from playing video games. In fact, as you may have seen above, Qmee allows you to play games on your phone and make money for doing so! It’s actually one of the highest paying ways to earn with Qmee if you know what you’re doing.

There are always a number of games available to play that vary in rewards from between £1 to £15 depending on the effort involved. Obviously the more effort required the larger the reward. But it’s a great method nonetheless if you like to game and can fit it in around your schedule.

The caveat is that you must reach a certain part of the game in a certain time period to get your reward (usually within two weeks of downloading the game). The way this benefits the game maker is that they expect you to buy in-game items to reduce the time it takes for you to reach the reward, or hope you’ll convert to a long term player which they will then earn off when you view adverts in-game.

However, you don’t need to do either to earn big. Most of these games follow the ‘Farmville’ format of duration based gameplay, meaning you need to wait a predefined period of real time before you can progress in-game. So as long as you can check back regularly and be efficient with your time, even the most challenging targets can be met without buying in-game items.

5. Searching the internet

If you didn’t know already, you can passively make money searching the internet thanks to tools like Qmee. While you might not make a lot, what you do make comes at no extra effort to you meaning it’s completely passive.

As mentioned above, and shown in the screenshot below, when you have the Qmee search extension (see step 3 of the set up guide) you may see promoted results based off what you’ve searched for. These search results are from Qmee partners and Qmee will pay you to follow the links through to the partner site, with no purchase necessary on the other side. Simply click the promoted listings and Qmee will deposit a couple of pence into your piggyback. Easy, eh!

6. Quizzes

Qmee quizzes aren’t going to make you much at all, but they can be fun. Two or three times a day at predefined times, Qmee will release a quick ‘Pop Quiz’ to test your knowledge. All you’ve got to do is answer the question correctly within 15 seconds and you’ll earn 3p. That’s all there is to it. Like I said it’s not going to make you rich, but if you happen to be on while one is running its quick money and a bit of fun.

7. Referrals

The final way to earn on Qmee is through referrals. Simply invite people to sign up to the site and you’ll earn when they make their first cash out. Qmee has a great referral system that allows you to decide what to do with the £1 referral bonus, giving you the choice between keeping it all for yourself, sharing it with your referral or giving it all to them. I like to be fair with my referrals and always split the bonus when people sign up via my link, but you can be as generous or as selfish as you like!

How much can you expect to earn on Qmee?

Like most survey platforms, you’d need to put in some serious effort to earn a lot on Qmee. Typically, users report an average of £1 an hour when answering surveys on the platform. However, since Qmee pays out instantly via PayPal, you are a likely to see a lot more of your earnings than you would with competitor sites that require you to build up points which you then convert into gift cards.

While Qmee might not be the highest paying platform out there, it is one of the better ones when it comes to ease of use and quickness of payouts. Qmee also offers a reasonable number of partners in regards to discounts and cashback offers and it has a couple of different ways to earn. Moreover, it’s earnings transparency is second to none, meaning you always know how much you’ve made. For these reasons alone Qmee is a good platform to have in your GetPaidTo portfolio even if it isn’t your main income stream.
